Automatic packers

The TLESPACK® allows to pack cans on two layers without inserting any pad or tray in between. It is installed at the inlet of SMI packers and it consists of two infeed conveyours running one above the other.

The TLESPACK® can achieve a maximum output of 60 packs per minute and can pack cans in the following patterns: 12 (3x2 on two layers), 16 (4x2 on two layers), 18 (3x3 on two layers) and 24 (4x3 on two layers)

Advantages

• Reduction of the packaging material costs, thanks to the possibility to pack products in film only (neutral or printed film), without in-between cardboard partitions.

Operation

Thanks to a thin transfer plate, the cans carried by the upper conveyour are easily stacked upon those running on the lower conveyour, forming a double-layered cluster.

In the packaging machine, the stacked cans are grouped in the required collation and then packed in the following ways: film only; film only with cardboard pad or tray at the base of the pack; cardboard sleeve; fully closed cardboard case.
